Responsibilities

Execute software quality activities, including testing and risk assessment, across the software development life cycle.
Design and execute test plans and investigate technical implementations in depth.
Manage components of a defect database and create custom reports on test coverage and defect data.
Task remote testers, provide feedback on their effectiveness, and instruct junior QA and external testers.
Work embedded with developers, artists, producers, and content creators to protect the player experience.
Recommend development-process improvements and innovate on approaches to mitigate quality risks.

Requirements

At least 3 years of software quality assurance experience with demonstrated success leading testing efforts on a team.
Experience designing and executing test plans.
Experience managing components of a defect database.
Experience tasking remote testers and providing feedback on effectiveness.
Experience working embedded with developers and content creators.
Experience creating custom reports on test coverage and defect data.
Ability to work independently with little day-to-day instruction and solve increasingly complex quality problems.
Preferred experience across mobile, console, and PC platforms; content development and integration pipelines; Unreal Engine 4/5; and Perforce.
Preferred ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester, or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST) certification.
