Responsibilities

Plan, design, develop, and maintain automation test suites according to requirements.
Analyze test results, localize and report issues, and work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
Create and maintain an automated reporting system and increase test coverage.
Functionally test new and existing infrastructure components with the platform team.
Research and evaluate new testing techniques, solutions, and methods.
Perform manual ad-hoc testing when needed and identify architectural or implementation risks.

Requirements

At least 5 years of QA experience.
At least 3 years of test automation experience using Java, TestNG, JUnit, and scripting languages such as Unix shell, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
Ability to create automation frameworks from scratch for functional, performance, and load testing.
At least 5 years of experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac, preferably including administration experience.
Experience with backend automation testing and Selenium RC.
Knowledge of IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, VPN, proxy technologies, bug tracking, version control, and test case management systems.
Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies including VirtualBox and VMware.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and issue-recognition skills.
