QA Engineer in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Develop, verify, and validate system test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Create and execute test plans, configure test environments, and execute database test scripts.
  • Validate end-to-end functionality and enhancement requests.
  • Resolve technical and business issues through analytical troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Collaborate with QA leadership to implement effective testing solutions.
  • Partner with developers, project managers, and UX designers to solve complex challenges and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years of QA engineering experience, or 6+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • At least 2 years of web automation experience using page object modeling and Cypress.
  • Experience with automated and manual API testing for web, backend, and mobile applications using REST and RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Postman, and Eclipse IDE.
  • High-level written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Preferred experience includes e-commerce, at least 2 years of mobile automation with Appium, WebDriverIO, Mocha, Chai, Selenium, Cucumber, and AI productivity platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT.
