Responsibilities

Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and code reviews across products and infrastructure.
Develop scalable security tooling, automation, and detection frameworks.
Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security requirements into design and development.
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive systemic mitigations.
Identify security coverage gaps and close them through tooling, policy, or architectural changes.
Create repeatable vulnerability detection and remediation patterns across the codebase.
Communicate risk posture and mitigation strategies to engineering leadership.
Mentor engineers on secure coding, vulnerability classes, and security reviews.
Independently manage and resolve security incidents with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

5+ years of security engineering experience, including vulnerability research, penetration testing, or application and infrastructure security assessments.
Experience identifying and exploiting memory corruption, injection flaws, authentication bypasses, or privilege escalation vulnerabilities.
Experience developing security tooling, automation, or detection frameworks using general-purpose programming or scripting languages.
Experience with threat modeling and security design reviews for large-scale distributed systems or web and mobile applications.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams and communicating security risks and mitigations.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent technical security experience.
Preferred experience with AI workflow tools, responsible AI practices, large-scale social platform security, static or dynamic analysis, security research, and both offensive and defensive security engineering.

Benefits

Base salary of $154,000/year to $217,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
