Responsibilities

  • Advise prospective customers across Japan on using Claude to solve high-value business problems through system architectures and prompting techniques.
  • Partner with account executives to understand requirements, configure Claude, and develop customized pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites.
  • Advise customers on optimal architecture, setup, and integration of Claude with existing infrastructure.
  • Recommend solutions to technical roadblocks and support customer onboarding, implementation, adoption, and post-go-live needs.
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, implementation support, and relationship building.
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative, safe AI solutions across Japan.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and other teams to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
  • Native-level Japanese fluency and business-level English.
  • Experience designing novel solutions for technical platforms in a developing business area across Japan.
  • Strong technical aptitude and strong proficiency in Python.
  • Recent experience building production systems with large language models.
  • Ability to work amid ambiguity, adapt across domains, and develop simple solutions to complex business problems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, teaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
