Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise IAM and CIAM solutions.
  • Serve as the technical authority for authentication, authorization, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Design and operate secure, scalable, resilient identity services supporting customer-facing SaaS applications and multiple engineering teams.
  • Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across cross-functional, multi-team initiatives.
  • Drive engineering excellence through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards.
  • Improve platform observability, maintainability, performance, availability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead technical investigations, evaluate emerging technologies, and influence long-term technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.
  • Advance responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture and technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and operating IAM and CIAM solutions.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Auth0, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
  • Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), federation, token-based security, and modern authentication patterns.
  • Experience building and operating identity solutions at scale for customer-facing SaaS applications.
  • Strong experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, security principles, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and organizations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and how AI can improve engineering effectiveness.
  • Preferred experience with identity platform migrations, Zero Trust, Single Sign-On (SSO), enterprise federation, cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, regulated or security-focused environments, and security, privacy, compliance, or audit requirements.
