Responsibilities

Own technical direction, design, and execution for major products, systems, and engineering initiatives.
Design scalable and reliable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
Write code, prototype solutions, conduct code reviews, debug systems, and solve production problems.
Drive architecture decisions and trade-offs across speed, scalability, reliability, cost, and maintainability.
Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical solutions and execution plans.
Improve engineering quality across system design, testing, security, observability, and development practices.
Lead technically critical initiatives and mentor engineers across teams.

Requirements

Have 7+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
Demonstrate deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
Have strong system design and architecture skills for complex or high-scale systems.
Have strong coding ability and willingness to remain hands-on.
Show a track record of technically leading major engineering projects from design through production.
Ability to make sound technical trade-offs, influence engineers, and solve complex production problems.
Strong English communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in distributed international teams.
Experience scaling engineering teams, systems, or development practices through significant growth is preferred.
Experience working across multiple products, markets, or countries is preferred.
