Responsibilities

Lead the solution architecture for scalable information engineering systems spanning data lakes, semantics, and ontologies.
Define system data flows and interfaces across AI, infrastructure, and global infrastructure organizations.
Provide design and implementation guidance to engineering teams and redesign inefficient workflows and processes.
Develop the technical vision and architectural direction for data engineering supporting AI/ML customers and capacity planning.
Use expertise across backend, frontend, and data engineering to improve delivery speed and system scalability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience creating a shared vision with clear communication and a leadership approach.
Preferred: master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Preferred: deep understanding of current AI and ML capabilities and experience leading complex large-scale systems.
Preferred: ability to influence and lead without direct authority, build relationships, drive alignment, upskill teams, and integrate AI-driven solutions.

Benefits

US base salary of $307000-$427000, plus a 30% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
Google benefits are available; specific benefits are provided through the company benefits program.
