Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term technical roadmap for next-generation network management platforms.
  • Lead innovation and R&D initiatives involving AI-driven network operations, intent-based networking, and autonomous network management.
  • Guide platform evolution toward intent-based networking, zero-touch provisioning, and self-healing networks.
  • Establish technical partnerships with network equipment vendors and cloud providers.
  • Participate in IEEE, IETF, and open-source networking projects.
  • Serve as chief technical advisor to strategic enterprise customers.
  • Lead technical due diligence for potential acquisitions.
  • Represent the company at networking conferences and publish thought leadership content.
  • Shape engineering practices and culture for network infrastructure software development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in network software development and 8+ years in senior technical leadership.
  • Expertise in 5G, WiFi 6E/7, SD-WAN, SASE, Network-as-a-Service, intent-based networking, cloud-native networking, network automation, telemetry, observability, zero trust, and edge computing.
  • Expert-level experience applying AI/ML to network operations, including AIOps and autonomous network management.
  • Recognized industry expert with major networking conference speaking experience, published research or patents, and active standards-body or open-source participation.
  • Deep relationships with major network equipment vendors and experience with network operator requirements and large-scale network deployments.
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling network management platforms.
  • Understanding of NOC workflows, carrier-grade network management, market dynamics, procurement processes, and enterprise buying cycles.
  • Ability to translate complex networking concepts into business value propositions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15–20% for customer meetings, conferences, partnerships, and technical collaboration.
