Principal AI Architect in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee enterprise-scale AI and ML systems and set architecture standards across the platform.
  • Architect and deliver multi-agent and agentic AI systems in production.
  • Lead AI/ML architecture decisions and define long-term technical strategy for enterprise-facing systems.
  • Build guardrails, safety mechanisms, and control systems for reliable AI model behavior in production.
  • Architect real-time data pipelines and drive platform modernization initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams and technical architects.

Requirements

  • 10 to 12 or more years of experience in AI/ML architecture or related engineering leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building and delivering enterprise-scale AI systems in production.
  • Hands-on experience designing multi-agent or agentic AI architectures at scale.
  • Experience building AI safety mechanisms, guardrails, or model control systems for production use.
  • Background in SaaS platform architecture and scaling systems for enterprise customers.
  • Domain knowledge in cybersecurity, risk management, or security ratings.
  • Experience leading engineering teams or managing technical architects.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range of $270,000 to $330,000 USD.
  • Hybrid role based in New York, NY, with regular presence in New York City.
  • Candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to Manhattan.
