PLM Engineer - DBA/Infrastructure in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Develop Teamcenter customizations, ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace extensions, workflows, and enterprise integrations.
  • Administer databases, including backups, recovery, indexing, statistics, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Install, configure, operate, patch, upgrade, and refresh Teamcenter environments and components including Pool Manager, FSC/FCC, Dispatcher, TcServer, and volume management.
  • Manage high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, observability, incident response, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot performance and reliability issues across database, application, and server tiers.
  • Build and perform load and performance tests to validate capacity, resource sizing, and upgrade readiness.
  • Automate recurring work using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and CI/CD practices.
  • Collaborate with PLM developers, infrastructure teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders on product data, BOMs, change management, and configuration management.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience administering Teamcenter environments in production.
  • Deep Teamcenter architecture and administration experience with 2-tier/4-tier deployments, FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, and TcServer.
  • Experience deploying BMIDE packages, administering Active Workspace, managing volumes and files, and using Deployment Center.
  • Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and environment refreshes, including 14.x through 2506/25.x.
  • Strong DBA fundamentals in performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup and recovery, security, and access management.
  • Experience with log analysis, troubleshooting across database/application/server tiers, high availability, disaster recovery, and patching for large enterprise applications.
  • U.S. Person status required to access export-controlled data.
  • Preferred experience includes AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, multisite configuration, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Jenkins, Ansible, infrastructure-as-code, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted tooling.
  • Experience in startup-like environments or aerospace/defense manufacturing and eligibility for a U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance are preferred.
