Platform Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Build infrastructure as code that provisions a site’s entire security platform.
  • Own CI/CD and the release path for the infrastructure security stack, including tested, versioned, and reversible production changes.
  • Automate remediation processes that would otherwise be performed manually.
  • Build package and patch pipelines for the Windows fleet.
  • Create automation that keeps on-call operations sustainable as campuses scale.
  • Write production code and review other engineers’ code.
  • Build tooling for non-engineering users.

Requirements

  • Experience building infrastructure as code that other people deploy from.
  • Experience automating manual operational work and demonstrating the resulting impact.
  • Experience owning CI/CD for infrastructure, including detecting and rolling back bad changes.
  • Experience automating Windows fleets.
  • Experience improving on-call sustainability by removing recurring causes of incidents.
  • Experience writing production code and reviewing code.
  • Experience building tools that non-engineers actively use.
  • Preferred experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell DSC, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Chocolatey, WSUS, Intune, Prometheus, Grafana, Genetec Security Center, access control, or IoT device fleets.
