Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain the internal platform across React and TypeScript frontend, Node.js backend services, and document and relational data layers.
  • Capture requirements directly from business stakeholders and deliver end-to-end software that eliminates manual and repetitive work.
  • Provide technical ownership and redundancy across the platform while translating ambiguous requirements into practical implementations.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, and iterate production-ready software.
  • Build AI-native and automation capabilities, including AI-assisted workflows, agents, and self-service functionality.
  • Manage version control, branching, release processes, and deployments across Sandbox, QA, and production environments.
  • Contribute to the platform’s external-facing capabilities for strategic partners and maintain code quality, documentation, and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience with ownership of features and projects from concept through production.
  • Broad engineering experience and the ability to work across the full stack.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript, including React frontend and Node.js backend development.
  • Working knowledge of version control and release management with Git or Azure DevOps, including branching, merging, and multi-environment deployment.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical approaches and working software.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to use them to build efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and convert their needs into software.
  • Preferred experience includes MongoDB, SQL, MSSQL, AI and LLM platforms, agentic workflows, RAG systems, SSO/SAML authentication, APIs, system integration, internal platforms, developer tooling, and Windows/IIS hosting.
