New Graduate Engineer, Software Security in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and build security-critical infrastructure for Starlink.
  • Develop security features for Starlink routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites.
  • Design security into factory processes and provide supporting network services.
  • Maintain production systems and improve their security posture through implementation and recommendations to other teams.
  • Build prototypes and identify, design, and test security improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
  • Graduation in the class of 2026 or 2027.
  • Experience with at least one software development language, such as Python, C++, or Golang.
  • Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise-scale infrastructure.
  • Preferred experience designing secure systems and contributing security improvements to complex systems.
  • Preferred experience with Trusted Platform Modules and Hardware Security Modules.
  • Advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
