Responsibilities

Design and develop microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products.
Perform design, development, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to take solutions from initial design through production.
Own design and development activities, incorporate customer feedback, and address issues found in testing and customer deployments.
Design and operate scalable microservices in distributed system architectures.
Experiment with new technologies to develop innovative solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and testing product components using Go, C++, or Java, with Go preferred.
Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable platforms.
Experience designing and implementing testable, maintainable, production-grade microservices and continuous integration.
Experience working with stakeholders from product management through customer beta partners.
Solid computer science background in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Willingness to work collaboratively and in an open office environment.
Preferred experience with KubeVirt, OpenShift, VMware APIs, virtualization technologies, Kubernetes, containers, Kubernetes control-plane development, and production telemetry systems.
