Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver automated validation suites for PCIe, NVMe, and OCP compliance.
  • Perform technical root-cause analysis across firmware and system layers using telemetry and logs.
  • Own and scale regression infrastructure to improve test repeatability, coverage, and qualification speed.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and cross-functional engineering teams on risk assessments, quality metrics, and release readiness.
  • Develop Python validation tools and scripts for drive behavior under power-loss, snapshot, endurance, and high-volume scenarios.
  • Use LeCroy, DriveMaster, or OakGate to validate data integrity, power-loss robustness, and endurance.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in PCIe and NVMe protocols and strong understanding of SSD architecture and firmware-hardware interaction.
  • Advanced Python programming skills and experience building or extending automated testing frameworks for embedded systems or storage products.
  • Demonstrated experience debugging hardware/software interfaces and conducting structured root-cause analysis in a lab environment.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard drive validation tools such as LeCroy, DriveMaster, or OakGate.
