Member of Technical Staff in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale core systems for ingesting and processing large volumes of social data.
  • Design data pipelines powering AI agents and real-time customer analytics.
  • Lead technical decisions, write design documents, and establish scalable architecture patterns.
  • Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across data and AI infrastructure.
  • Mentor engineers and review system designs and code.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on complex technical problems and impactful systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
  • Strong experience designing and scaling distributed systems, data infrastructure, or complex production platforms.
  • Proven ability to architect systems and drive major technical decisions.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing engineering direction.
  • Ability to work with high ownership and autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Strong product intuition and close collaboration skills with product and design teams.
  • Interest in AI-native engineering workflows and AI’s impact on software development.
  • Preferred: startup experience, large-scale data pipeline or real-time analytics experience, familiarity with AWS, Pulumi, Postgres, ClickHouse, or similar technologies, and experience integrating AI or machine learning systems into production platforms.
