MapKit Native (IOS) Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Elicit client requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable code.
  • Design, review, and implement third-party developer APIs and tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Human Interaction Design, Services, Engineering, and Data teams.
  • Develop, launch, and maintain cross-platform features integrating Maps with the broader ecosystem.
  • Partner with internal products and third-party developers to build mapping solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.
  • Proficiency with SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
  • Familiarity with system architecture and API design.
  • Software engineering experience in a production environment.
  • A proven record of architecting, developing, releasing, and supporting critically important software components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Preferred: Experience writing testable code and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems or other spatial visualization systems.
