Responsibilities

Own large-scale speech and audio data pipelines for collection, cleaning, filtering, labeling, augmentation, and quality control.
Partner with senior speech engineers on term and hotword mining strategies based on ASR system output.
Support fine-tuning and evaluation of speech and language models to improve recognition of code-switching, names, and product terms.
Fine-tune models with scenario-specific data for industry-specific terminology across languages and verticals.
Build keyword- and domain-lexicon-based test sets and evaluation frameworks.
Benchmark internal models against open-source and commercial baselines.

Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in speech, machine learning, or large-scale data engineering.
Experience with ASR or SpeechLLM training, fine-tuning, or evaluation; LLM or general ML model training or fine-tuning; or large-scale audio, video, or text data pipelines.
Solid Python and PyTorch fundamentals.
Experience with distributed data processing such as Spark or Ray.
Familiarity with SpeechLLM or speech self-supervised learning concepts and models such as StepAudio or Qwen3-Omni is preferred.
Experience with hotword or contextual-biasing work, code-switching ASR improvements, speech-model training data ownership, relevant publications, or speech-related patents is preferred.
