Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of Salesforce CPQ solutions.
  • Design scalable Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ solutions covering product configuration, pricing rules, discount schedules, usage-based pricing, guided selling, and approvals.
  • Translate requirements from Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering into scalable technical solutions across Salesforce, CPQ, and integrated ERP and billing systems.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators.
  • Drive integration strategies with ERP, billing, and third-party platforms.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and data models.
  • Ensure reliability, data integrity, and security compliance across Salesforce solutions.
  • Drive best practices for DevOps, testing, and change management.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience on the Salesforce platform.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce CPQ implementation and architecture experience.
  • Strong knowledge of product configuration, pricing engines, discounting, quoting, contracts, renewals, amendments, and subscriptions.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS-specific CPQ use cases, including subscriptions, renewals, and amendments.
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, and Flow.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist and Salesforce Platform Developer I or higher are requested.
  • Preferred qualifications include B2B SaaS or subscription-business experience, pricing and quote-to-cash knowledge, CLM tool experience, CPQ API or custom pricing-engine experience, SaaS metrics and ARR/MRR workflow experience, and MuleSoft or Boomi integration experience.
