Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor QA Engineers while promoting testing best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes across applications and releases.
  • Drive test automation adoption, improve regression coverage, and optimize testing efficiency.
  • Oversee functional, integration, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor quality metrics including defect leakage, test coverage, automation coverage, release readiness, and production stability.
  • Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality governance to reduce recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Operations teams to ensure requirements are testable.
  • Support Agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog refinement, risk assessments, and release management.

Requirements

  • Experience leading or mentoring QA Engineers and establishing quality standards and testing best practices.
  • Experience defining test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes.
  • Knowledge of test automation, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to manage defect triage, root cause analysis, quality metrics, and release readiness activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with product, analysis, development, and operations stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and quality governance.
