Lead Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Create high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and ensure architectural design constraints are met.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
  • Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Practical experience with Python, Java, databases, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with SQL, relational database procedures and performance optimization, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD practices.
  • Preferred experience with React or Angular, Identity and Access Management or Privileged Access Management, Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Apache Spark, PySpark, Scala, lakehouse solutions, streaming platforms, and AWS services.

Salary: $157k - $215k/yr
