Responsibilities

Engineer, test, and validate hardened RHEL server images.
Build automated validation frameworks, integration test harnesses, and CI/CD-driven validation pipelines.
Validate compatibility across VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, container runtimes, databases, application platforms, and partner agents.
Improve observability with logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
Define compatibility standards, contract tests, validation criteria, and measurable quality gates with partner teams.
Improve release readiness, reliability, software supply-chain controls, and engineering productivity.
Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews.

Requirements

Strong hands-on RHEL administration and troubleshooting experience.
Expertise in automation using Python, Go, Bash, and/or Ansible.
Experience designing automated test frameworks and integration validation solutions.
Strong CI/CD and release engineering experience.
Experience with containers, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of observability platforms and OpenTelemetry.
Experience with hardened Linux images, image factories, database and application-platform integrations, SBOMs, artifact signing, supply-chain security, SLSA, or regulated enterprise environments is preferred.
Strong root-cause analysis, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
