Lead Salesforce Developer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Salesforce solutions spanning Apex, Salesforce CPQ, Lightning Web Components, platform events, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Maintain architectural standards for Salesforce data models, security, sharing, and visibility.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and own the code review process.
  • Oversee deployments, GitHub pull request workflows, merge conflict resolution, and CI/CD practices.
  • Partner with leadership on story sizing, project estimates, Scrum planning, blocker identification, and risk escalation.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues using Developer Console, Workbench, and Debug Logs.
  • Use AI development tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery velocity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Salesforce development experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience, including products, pricing rules, lookup queries, and quote-to-cash processes.
  • Experience with DocuSign and Conga.
  • Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, platform event-driven architectures, web services, and integrations.
  • Previous experience leading a team of developers through successful project delivery.
  • Advanced understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or Copado, plus billing platforms such as Zuora or Salesforce Billing, is preferred.
  • Advanced GitHub workflow management experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with three days per week in-office when located within 25–50 miles of a Toast office.
