Lead Mobile QA Automation Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Lead manual and automated QA strategy, planning, execution, and release readiness for mobile applications.
  • Define automation, regression, performance, and release testing strategies across AI PDLC processes.
  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for mobile, web, and REST API applications.
  • Write and review automated test scripts and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop and execute automated mobile UI, integration, and regression test suites.
  • Own and prioritize the mobile QA backlog, including automation coverage, technical debt, and infrastructure testing initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex defects, analyze logs and system behavior, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Leadership on acceptance criteria, quality standards, and test requirements.
  • Mentor and develop QA Engineers on automation frameworks, tools, and testing methodologies.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building a scalable QA practice.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience in B2B SaaS or complex business software.
  • 3+ years of iOS and Android testing experience for enterprise mobile applications.
  • 3+ years of test automation experience with tools such as BrowserStack, Appium, Playwright, or Detox.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading a team.
  • Practitioner-level experience writing test cases and enabling automation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, test case coverage analysis, hardening, and exploratory testing.
  • Experience with mobile application testing, including Appium or Maestro.
  • Experience with API testing, including Postman, Python, or SmartBear.
  • Strong prioritization, collaboration, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar experience.
  • Experience leading or mentoring Quality Engineers is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-enabled QA technologies is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range is $130,300 - $140,036 per year, with eligibility for discretionary bonus compensation.
