Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and collaborate with them to bring technical visions to life.
  • Guide, coach, and mentor software development teams while continuing to code alongside developers.
  • Lead software consulting and delivery across the full lifecycle, from ideation through production evolution.
  • Design mobile solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
  • Build platform-appropriate, seamless, accessible, private, and human-centered mobile experiences.
  • Champion clean, reusable code, mobile architecture patterns, design and pair programming, testing, continuous delivery, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Use and advocate for development, deployment, and mobile DevOps pipeline tools and practices.
  • Apply current technology thinking to solve client problems and improve software delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience using two or more mobile development languages, such as Swift, Kotlin, Dart, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with mobile SDKs and UI frameworks such as SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, or Flutter.
  • Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, or Continuous Delivery approaches.
  • Knowledge of mobile software concerns including vendor limitations, constrained execution environments, disconnected operation, release cycles, accessibility, and privacy.
  • Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, and adapt constructively to change.
  • Ability to translate business needs into software requirements and execute a technical vision focused on business value.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced peers and navigate ambiguous challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Working knowledge of mobile DevOps or pipeline tools such as fastlane or Gradle is a bonus.
  • Interest in continuous learning, including functional programming, modern UI patterns and architecture, and platform engineering.
