Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IAM services and their supporting tools and systems.
  • Document IAM runbooks, playbooks, administration tasks, and evidence required for security, regulatory, and audit standards.
  • Integrate applications with the IAM platform and collaborate with Application, IT, Infrastructure, and Support teams on runtime issues.
  • Delegate IAM tasks to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams and provide primary Level 3 support for IAM issues.
  • Automate operational workflows, rule tuning, and reporting using scripting and API-based integrations.
  • Manage production changes according to First Citizens Bank policies.
  • Customize Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes, workflows, rules, connectors, and plugins.
  • Contribute to architecture reviews, technology evaluations, security improvements, and IAM posture initiatives.
  • Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert, mentor team members, and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in full-stack development and deployment.
  • Strong expertise in Java, analytical problem-solving, IAM lifecycle management, and full-stack development.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries, and back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Git, application authorization and authentication integrations, and Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration technologies.
  • Experience onboarding connector types and working with Active Directory, JDBC, Web Services, SCIM 2.0, and delimited connectors.
  • Experience writing custom workflows and rules and implementing custom connectors and plugins.
  • Experience using Java to customize SailPoint solutions and demonstrated full-stack development experience.
  • Experience with IAM tools such as CyberArk, Ping, Okta, or RSA SecureID is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, ownership, accountability, and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on technical execution and drive automation-first security practices.
