Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and collaborate with them to bring technical visions to life.
  • Lead software consulting and delivery across the full lifecycle, from ideation through production evolution.
  • Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
  • Continue coding alongside developers while applying clean code, reusable design, TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
  • Advocate continuous delivery, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, and shifting security left in software development.
  • Collaborate with teammates on features, design concepts, interactive prototypes, and UX implementation.
  • Guide, coach, and mentor software development teams and foster an inclusive, supportive culture.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in two or more programming technologies, including Java and React or Angular, with comfort in object-oriented technology.
  • Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous approaches.
  • Knowledge of TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Ability to influence others, advocate for technical excellence, translate business needs into software requirements, and execute a technical vision.
  • Ability to mentor less experienced peers, adapt to ambiguity, and approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Interest in continuous learning, including functional programming, event-driven architecture, platform engineering, or related areas.
