Responsibilities

  • Lead junior developers and guide team members toward project completion.
  • Engage vendors on technical solutions, delivery impacts, quality, and IT security considerations.
  • Manage and report technical risks.
  • Maintain development quality through standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, and code reviews.
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Participate in design, estimation, planning, development, unit testing, release, and implementation support.
  • Translate business requirements into application technical solutions with business analysts and solution architects.
  • Contribute to and review technical specifications.

Requirements

  • 5.1–7 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Spring Batch, multithreading, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Database.
  • Hands-on senior developer experience building and delivering web and API solutions while coaching team members.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and software development principles.
  • Practical knowledge of relational database design and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Java 8 or later, Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate, REST APIs, JMS, SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, and Serena.
  • General banking knowledge, particularly wealth management or private banking, is expected or preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, mentoring, change-management, process-development, and project-management abilities.
