iOS Team Lead - Onsite in USA

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction and delivery of client engagements.
  • Design, implement, deliver, and test native iOS applications for consumer banking use cases.
  • Write code, design systems, and guide architectural decisions in this hands-on leadership role.
  • Mentor engineers and improve their autonomy, capability, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, designers, product owners, users, technologists, and leadership.
  • Break down complex business and technical problems into effective software solutions.
  • Drive software architecture, development best practices, and adoption of new technologies.
  • Proactively manage delivery risks and ensure high-quality outcomes aligned with client and user objectives.

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex commercial-grade software systems.
  • 4+ years of experience leading Agile teams.
  • Proficiency in Swift and native iOS development tools including SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Experience with consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, released App Store applications, AppConfig community standards, and enterprise app distribution.
  • Preferred: college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience using Claude, Claude Code, or Copilot for AI-assisted development and responsible team adoption.
