Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop advanced video streaming applications for iOS Mobile and Apple TV platforms.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable Swift code and optimize application performance.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex features and conduct code reviews.
  • Implement and optimize HLS, DASH, and DRM video streaming technologies.
  • Integrate and customize AVFoundation and third-party video players.
  • Troubleshoot playback, buffering, and content delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend teams, and QA to deliver features.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Support release planning, deployment cycles, and critical deadline issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Experienced iOS Principal Engineer with a strong technical background.
  • Deep understanding of iOS frameworks and exceptional coding skills.
  • Hands-on experience building high-performance video streaming applications.
  • Expertise with video streaming technologies including HLS, DASH, and DRM.
  • Experience with AVFoundation and third-party video players.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally.
