Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable iOS applications for banking, payments, lending, savings, and investment products.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Build mobile applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks and develop intuitive user interfaces.
  • Integrate applications with backend services, payment gateways, financial platforms, and third-party solutions.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure data storage controls.
  • Troubleshoot defects, production incidents, and performance issues.
  • Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Contribute to mobile architecture decisions, technical design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS mobile-payment requirements, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, regulatory requirements, and organizational security policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of FinTech experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, the iOS SDK, and native iOS development.
  • Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns including MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Knowledge of FinTech products, payment systems, and digital wallet integrations.
  • Expertise in secure coding, authentication, and mobile security best practices.
  • Strong API integration and backend service connectivity skills.
  • Ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, and regulatory compliance requirements.
