Responsibilities

  • Apply NSA and FIPS 140 requirements to cryptography products.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware design engineers to implement certification requirements.
  • Produce design and testing documentation validating requirements implementation.
  • Support NSA certification and FIPS 140 validation development efforts.
  • Interface with internal and external customers regarding design, implementation, and certification progress.
  • Ask questions, seek clarification, adapt to change, and collaborate in joint decision-making processes.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience or knowledge includes one or more of C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, and embedded technologies.

  • Salt Lake City, Utah work location.
  • Travel may be required up to 25%.
