Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Execute automated and manual tests and analyze results.
Identify, reproduce, document, and investigate software defects and test failures.
Use SQL and PostgreSQL to prepare, query, and validate test data.
Improve the team’s test automation framework and coverage.
Participate in functional, integration, and regression testing.
Translate software requirements into test scenarios and test cases.
Use logs, application data, and diagnostic information to debug failures.
Collaborate with QA and software development engineers.
Document test cases, test results, and technical findings.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Strong programming fundamentals, particularly in Python.
Interest in software testing and test automation.
Basic understanding of relational databases, SQL, and PostgreSQL or a similar database.
Good analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian.
Ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team.
Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
Exposure through coursework, personal projects, or previous internships to Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, PyTest, REST APIs, Git, or CI/CD is advantageous.
