Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ads and monetisation features for mobile video and streaming products, with a focus on the TV application.
Implement and support ad tracking, measurement, and ad decisioning integrations.
Deliver reliable ad experiences across live, linear, and on-demand streaming use cases.
Collaborate with backend and platform teams on client-side and server-side ad insertion workflows.
Improve application performance, stability, observability, user experience, and ad playback quality.
Participate in technical discovery, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and release activities.
Troubleshoot production issues involving playback, advertising, analytics, and device-specific behaviour.
Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, and commercial teams and communicate technical trade-offs.

Requirements

Experience developing customer-focused web-based services using HTML and JavaScript.
Experience working with a stateless, highly transactional end-user product.
Good understanding of architecture, performance optimisation, testing, debugging, and maintainable code design.
Experience with video playback, streaming, media applications, or complex mobile user journeys.
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
A pragmatic engineering mindset with attention to reliability, quality, and user experience.
Experience with TV applications is strongly valued.
Experience with advertising technology such as SSAI, CSAI, VAST, VMAP, ad SDKs, ad tracking, or measurement is a bonus.
Experience with AVOD, FAST, live streaming, OTT, or other ad-supported video products is a bonus.
Experience working with commercial, ad operations, or monetisation stakeholders is a bonus.
