Responsibilities

  • Design and build resilient, high-performance backend software for a mission-critical parcel logistics platform.
  • Develop TypeScript and Node.js backend solutions using microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Build serverless applications on AWS, particularly with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
  • Process and respond to high volumes of real-time events from scanners, handheld devices, and automated sorting systems.
  • Integrate services and APIs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and architects to create reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-native development practices.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures in cloud environments.
  • Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Hands-on experience building serverless applications on AWS, particularly with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems that process high volumes of real-time operational events.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and modern cloud-native development practices.
  • Experience integrating services and APIs within complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with engineers and architects on reliable, scalable solutions.
  • A security-first mindset; practical security experience is a plus.
