Finance Systems Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Administer Pigment and other Finance applications, managing data, access, security, configurations, versioning, controls, and governance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot finance-system issues for end users.
  • Build and maintain financial models, workflows, applications, dataflows, integrations, SQL data models, ETL pipelines, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Connect FP&A platforms and data warehouses with enterprise systems such as Workday Financials and Salesforce CRM.
  • Support monthly forecasting, annual and long-range planning, workforce planning, OPEX forecasting, balance-sheet forecasting, and cash-flow forecasting.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and other Finance teams to translate business problems into technical solutions and use AI tools to improve processes.
  • Maintain financial-data accuracy and integrity through validation rules, quality checks, discrepancy resolution, migration, and transformation activities.
  • Test and validate system changes and train and onboard system users.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with FP&A systems, EPM platforms, finance data warehouses, financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Hands-on administration and development experience with enterprise planning platforms such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar tools.
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills, including system integrations and data pipelines.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
  • Preferred qualifications include CFA or techno-functional experience, shared production-codebase experience, dbt or BigQuery experience, LLM finance-application experience, Python or JavaScript knowledge, pre-IPO and scaling experience, financial data security and compliance knowledge, relevant planning-platform certification, and project-management or implementation-workstream leadership experience.
