Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Own product features end to end across the development lifecycle, from design and implementation through refinement based on user feedback.
  • Develop and maintain the US payroll product using TypeScript, React, C#, Postgres, and Temporal.
  • Make code design decisions and improve technical standards, developer efficiency, API performance, and system scalability.
  • Build resilient systems, automated delivery pipelines, and complex workflow architectures.
  • Debug issues across the full stack and participate in production incident response and the on-call roster.
  • Mentor teammates, exchange constructive feedback, and help shape an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Full-stack experience with TypeScript, React, C#, or relational databases such as Postgres.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end product features and managing complex workflow architectures.
  • Practical familiarity with artificial intelligence tools for improving engineering workflows.
  • Commitment to test-driven development, trunk-based delivery, and clean API design.
  • Demonstrated full-stack debugging skills and experience responding to production incidents.
  • Empathetic mentoring, constructive communication, and collaborative team practices.
  • Must be able to work on the US West Coast; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
