Responsibilities

Design and develop core cellular technologies for Apple wireless products.
Translate system-level requirements into efficient, deterministic algorithms for real-time embedded environments.
Work across cellular software layers and collaborate with multifunctional engineering teams.
Contribute to Layer 1 control technologies that improve connectivity and user experience.

Requirements

Understand RF antenna characteristics, including antenna efficiency, isolation, and gain, and their impact on transmit and receive antenna selection.
Understand uplink power control, including power headroom, maximum power limits, and regulatory power backoff.
Have a strong background in algorithm design and development for real-time embedded systems.
Knowledge of 3GPP 5G/4G Layer 1 control topics such as RACH, scheduling request, SRS, CSI, and DRX is preferred.
Have strong communication and documentation skills.
