Embedded Software Engineer - Access Control in USA

Responsibilities

  • Develop software for cloud-managed access control systems and devices.
  • Take technical ownership of major systems and drive ambiguous product ideas through completion.
  • Work with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to build access control products.
  • Solve complex problems, learn new technologies, and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.

Requirements

  • BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or science.
  • At least 3 years of experience working on Linux development as a software engineer.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with Linux servers, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel patches, secure operating systems, and security-focused programming.
  • Preferred experience with embedded Linux.
  • Experience with Bash scripting and Yocto.
  • Familiarity with Secure Boot, Go, Python, and WebRTC.
  • Experience with distributed systems and understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
