Responsibilities

Develop reliable flight software for spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout entire missions.
Write structured bare-metal, RTOS, or Linux-based C++ software for embedded processors.
Own software development from design through testing and integration.
Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
Ensure software quality and performance through testing, verification, and validation techniques.
Collaborate with the team to communicate and solve problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
At least 3 years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
Experience developing in C++ with a strong understanding of language concepts.
Preferred: end-to-end experience building and launching a spacecraft.
Preferred: experience developing and testing real-time embedded systems and safety-critical aerospace software.
Preferred: experience with CCSDS telemetry and telecommand systems, F' or cFS, Python or Rust, basic analog and digital electronics, and SPI, I2C, CAN, or EtherCAT.
