Embedded DevOps Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for embedded software delivery and internal clients.
  • Administer build infrastructure through job configuration, plugin management, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot build systems to maintain high availability and rapidly resolve issues.
  • Scale infrastructure, address performance bottlenecks, and improve build, deployment, and infrastructure systems.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across build and deployment systems.
  • Manage device OTA updates, scheduled rollouts, and fleet management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of practical DevOps experience for embedded systems and/or consumer electronics products.
  • Advanced experience with industry-standard CI/CD pipeline automation and tooling such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and Python, with advanced debugging skills.
  • Experience with embedded software build systems for bare metal, RTOSes, and/or Linux or Android-based systems.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative version-control practices.
  • Experience with modern OTA systems, including A/B image management, compression, and delta updates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bonus: advanced Linux system administration skills; AOSP build-system experience; HIL testing or FPGA simulation and regression-testing experience; understanding of secure build pipelines and artifact signing; and traceable FPGA release-management experience.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a US base salary range of $150,000–$300,000 annually.
  • Total compensation may include additional components and benefits depending on the role.
