Responsibilities

Develop and optimize C++ applications for real-time operational mission data processing signal chains.
Characterize remote sensing data and tune signal processing chains for specific data and targets.
Develop robust, repeatable, and adaptable signal processing architectures.
Engineer low Size, Weight, and Power solutions, including deployments on Versal ACAP devices.
Design, document, test, and maintain software solutions while contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Algorithm Engineers, team members, and leads to meet project milestones.
Follow applicable corporate and DoD processes, standards, quality requirements, compliance practices, and security procedures.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in high-performance C++ application software engineering within Linux environments.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with equivalent experience accepted.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship; a current Secret clearance is desired.
Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware acceleration concepts.
Ability to document and communicate software designs and work independently or collaboratively.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Desired experience with Xilinx/AMD Versal ACAP platforms or similar, Vitis Unified Software Platform, and Vivado Design Suite.
Desired familiarity with FPGA design and VHDL or Verilog.
Desired experience translating complex algorithms into production software, working on DoD/DoW projects, and applying continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.
Experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript and AI-assisted software development tools is desired.
