Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve shared cloud infrastructure, services, and platform tools for scalability, health, and security.
Design and manage cloud environments, containerized workloads, Kubernetes orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
Develop automation and scripts using Bash, Python, and Groovy, with relevant programming in Java and Ruby.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and metric collection using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or EFK, New Relic, and SignalFx.
Improve developer workflows, platform performance, and scalability by identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions and operational controls.
Support security, identity and access management, networking, deployments, and operations for SaaS or B2C products.
Design, create, and consume RESTful APIs and microservice architectures on public clouds.
Advise, coach, and assist engineering teams on cloud development and platform practices.

Requirements

At least 2 years of technology experience.
At least 2 years of experience with Python, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
Hands-on experience managing build tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
Experience working with Linux-based infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Ruby, Python, and Java.
Expert technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to establish processes and controls for root-cause analysis.
Experience operating, deploying, and securing multiple SaaS or B2C products.
Hands-on experience with log collection designs such as EFK and metric collection tools such as New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana, or SignalFx.
Experience designing, creating, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservice architectures on public clouds, preferably AWS or GCP.
Strong analytical, communication, coding, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
