Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute application migrations from Pivotal Cloud Foundry to Kubernetes, including readiness assessments, configuration changes, deployment validation, and rollback planning.
  • Consolidate and standardize Helm charts for reusable deployment management.
  • Create segregated development, staging, and production environments using Kubernetes namespaces, configurations, and access controls.
  • Implement dynamic review applications with automated namespace provisioning and cleanup.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, testing, deployment validation, and rollback capabilities.
  • Guide development teams in adopting CI/CD practices and tools on cloud and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Implement monitoring, dashboards, reports, and alerting with Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Troubleshoot application deployment, pipeline, container, and Kubernetes platform issues.
  • Maintain deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, release automation, and cloud-native application delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating applications from Pivotal Cloud Foundry to Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, containerization, Helm, and YAML-based configuration.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes workloads, services, ingress, namespaces, configuration, secrets, and resource limits.
  • Strong experience building and troubleshooting Git-based CI/CD workflows and environment-specific deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana for application and platform observability.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
  • Understanding of cloud networking, role-based access control, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Preferred: infrastructure as code, GitOps-based deployment practices, microservices, enterprise-scale cloud platforms, progressive delivery such as blue-green or canary releases, and relevant Kubernetes or cloud certifications.
  • Advanced conversational English and Spanish are essential and will be evaluated.
  • Candidates must be currently residing in Mexico; foreigners residing in Mexico must have valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC documentation.
