Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms.
  • Develop scalable data stores that provide big data for business analysis.
  • Create ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
  • Develop scripts and programs to retrieve, parse, process, and convert structured and unstructured data into usable formats.
  • Support the scaling, monitoring, and operation of data platforms.
  • Develop and deploy large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines.
  • Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, developers, data scientists, infrastructure engineers, customer success managers, and data consumers.
  • Present complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience using programming languages, including Python.
  • Experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores for business analysis.
  • Experience developing scalable data pipelines or ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
  • Experience creating solutions in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop scripts and programs for data conversion and platform operations.
  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Preferred experience includes PaaS and SaaS analytics deployments using AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Databricks, or machine learning services.
  • Preferred experience includes Apache Spark or NVIDIA CUDA, Terraform or CloudFormation, large-scale batch and stream analytics, and integrated technical teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree, AWS Solutions Architect or Azure certification, or Information Security certifications such as Security+ or CISSP.
