Responsibilities

Manage DoD software projects from cradle to grave.
Design and develop computer system architectures and complex DoD software and training systems.
Develop and support Combat System design, core technologies, and Combat System training execution.
Work with C, C++, Java, Data Distribution Service, High Level Architecture, and Distributed Interactive Simulation.
Manage software version control and software source code baselines.
Develop DoD training systems and training tools.
Apply computer architecture, Red Hat Linux, virtualization, and model-based systems engineering technologies.
Support specialized Naval System areas including Aegis, SSDS, NAVSSI, GPNTS, and BFTT/ATD.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; Computer Science; Information Systems Management; or Systems Engineering.
At least 10 years of professional experience in software development, computer networks, or systems engineering emphasizing software development and integration.
Experience with IEEE standards and other industry best practices.
Experience with computer architecture, real-time messaging, simulation architecture standards, software version control, and DoD training systems.
Experience with C, C++, Java, Red Hat Linux, VMware, RHEV, and model-based systems engineering software.
Specialized experience with Aegis, SSDS, NAVSSI, GPNTS, and BFTT/ATD Naval Systems.
U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance at minimum.
Ability to travel up to 20% CONUS and OCONUS.
