Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate highly scalable and reliable systems for Bedrock engineering teams.
Own and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure for security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end monitoring, logging, and tracing systems.
Develop production engineering practices covering reliability, security, on-call rotations, and incident response.
Identify and implement performance improvements and cloud resource cost optimizations.

Requirements

Demonstrated passion for building and maintaining reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Strong proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Proven experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Splunk.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, database technologies, and compute infrastructure.
Strong understanding of and experience implementing security best practices in cloud environments.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, handle ambiguity, and take ownership of challenging problems.
