Responsibilities

Develop and improve SDKs for supported platforms.
Implement features focused on customer performance, concurrency, resiliency, quality, and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams on major feature implementation and releases.
Maintain LaunchDarkly’s open-source SDK repositories.
Identify improvements, advocate for best practices, and contribute to technology and product decisions.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience building libraries and packages used by other developers.
A polyglot programming background and ability to switch between languages quickly.
At least five years of experience with at least two of .NET, Go, Ruby, Python, Node.js, and Java.
Strong computer science fundamentals and production-ready coding experience.
Strong testing experience with unit, integration, load, and benchmark tests.
Experience contributing to open-source software.
Experience with C++, Erlang, Haskell, Lua, AI SDKs, observability SDKs, or mobile development is a plus.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, solve difficult problems, and work independently when needed.
