Responsibilities

Lead development of product features, experiments, technical initiatives, and complex systems.
Shape architecture decisions and influence important technical decisions across the organization.
Coach and influence distributed teams of engineers while improving productivity and effectiveness.
Continuously improve system architecture, software design, code quality, and engineering practices.
Write high-quality, maintainable code and support other engineers in doing the same.
Collaborate with backend, client-side, and infrastructure teams to deliver technical solutions.
Strengthen agile and scrum ways of working.
Identify opportunities to enhance products, development processes, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

8+ years of experience building performance-critical applications in production environments using a JVM technology stack such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full ownership of the systems involved.
Hands-on experience with data platforms such as SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop, including selecting appropriate data solutions for application needs.
Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software development, coding, and software architecture.
Experience driving architectural decisions within a team.
Ability to improve team productivity and effectiveness through KPI-driven engineering practices.
Passion for software craftsmanship, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
